Kurth, Bertha (3 JUN 1874 - 22 JAN 1905)

Mrs. William Kurth, born Bertha Wilding, died at the home in Pleasant Ridge (Clark Co., Wis.), Jan. 22, 1905, at 2 p.m. of tuberculosis, and was buried from the Ridge Church Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the afternoon, Rev. G. W. Longenecker preaching., in the Ridge Cemetery. Her age was 30 years, 7 months and 19 days, having been born June 3, 1874.

She was the oldest daughter of Mrs. Wm. Wilding and the late William Wilding, and leaves a baby girl eleven months old. She also leaves besides the husband and mother, a sister; one sister died of tuberculosis a few years ago, and the brother of lockjaw. She was a most lovable and beloved lady, enjoying the close friendship of all the Ridge people and many others. It is especially sad that the little daughter is deprived of her loving care. There was a very large turnout yesterday of those who sought to express their sympathy and grief.
