Shaw, Nathan Ray (30 September 1984 - 27 July 2013)

Nathan Ray Shaw, 28, of St. Paul, TX, on Lake Lavon died Saturday, July 27, 2013.

Nathan was born Sept. 30, 1984, in Dallas TX, the son of Goodwin and Sherry (Shaw) Westbay. He moved to Neillsville when he was five and graduated from Neillsville High School in 2003. He moved back to Garland, TX, after graduating. He later lived at Lake Lavon. He worked various jobs in delivery, security and maintenance.

Nathan was living his dream on the lake as a guide hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, his great hunting and fishing adventures, boating, riding his dirt bike, playing poker and cooking his wild game and fish.

Nathan was loved and will be greatly missed by many family and friends. He had a warm heart, a great sense of humor, a contagious smile, was fun to be around and made everyone feel warm and welcome.

Survivors include his parents, Goodwin and Sherry Westbay; a brother, Wesley (Mandy) Shaw; niece Bella; nephew Eli; grandparents Clyde and Gail Shaw; several aunts and uncles, many cousins and many much-loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bud and Lois Westbay.

Services for Nathan were held Aug. 3 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse, TX.
