Bartz, Lila (4 FEB 1939)

Miss Lila Bartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armin Bartz of Colby, and Herman Mueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mueller of Abbotsford, exchanged marriage vows at the Lutheran Parsonage at Edgar, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Dimer officiated.

A dark blue transparent velvet formal with blue face veil held by a gold head band and gold accessories were worn by the bride. Her bouquet which she carried was made of white carnations and lilies.

Miss Verna Mueller, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She wore a deep rose satin formal with matching face veils, silver head band and slippers.

Miss Lydia Bartz, cousin of the bride, wore a formal satin gown of aqua blue with matching face veil and silver accessories. Both attendants of the bride wore a shoulder corsage of white carnations.

The groom was attended by Arthur Weideman, as best man, and Harvey Bartz, cousin of the birde.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to about 75 guests. White, rose and blue decorations were used in the home.

Among the guests present from away were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mueller, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stelzel and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mueller, all of Eau Claire and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller of Owen.

A wedding dance was given at Cherokee Hall in the evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Mueller are making their home in Abbotsford, where the groom is employed at the Abbotsford Hardware Co..
