Morrow, Mr./Mrs. Joseph (50th - 5 MAY 1939)

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morrow celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their farm home off highway 29 on Saturday.

Their children entertained guests in their home at dinner and supper. The centerpiece for the table was composed of two wedding cakes, one of which was decorated with a bride and groom and gold leaves, the other had 50 gold candies.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. James Morrow and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Brandt and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brandt and family of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. James Vandehey and family, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Noel Schilling, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Morrow and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wiese and family, Mrs. Albert Franz and son, Arthur, and Rev. C. D. Brad of Abbotsford, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Morrow were united in marriage, May 5th, 1889 at Haider, Wis., Marathon Co., and her made their home for 34 years. Four years ago they and their son, Carl, and his wife, moved to the Ed Leichtnam farm, Town of Mayville (Clark Co., Wis.). for the past year they have lived on the Albert Franz place.

Mr. and Mrs. Morrow are the parents of four sons, James of Greenwood, William of Milwaukee, Carl of Abbotsford, Wis. One son, Joseph, died at the age of five.
