Barth, Norma L (Marriage - 18 September 1948)

Zion Lutheran Church, Town of Fremont, was the scene of the wedding on Saturday, of Miss Norma L. Barth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Barth, Granton, and Harold P. Vandenbergen, Arpin. The Rev. Edgar Milleville read the service.

The bride chose a gown of marquisette. The lace-edged veil was caught to a beaded crown. Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses, white asters and dahlias.

Attendants for the bride were Mrs. Raymond Barth, Granton, sister-in-law of the bride, as matron of honor, Mrs. Robert Barth, another sister-in-law of the bride, and Marge Post, Arpin, as bridesmaids. They wore yellow and aqua. Junior bridesmaids were Harriet Mueller, Arpin, and Romelle Quicker, Granton. They wore pink.

The groom was attended by Raymond Barth, Granton, brother of the bride, Robert Barth, Granton, another brother of the bride, and Richard Vandenbergen, brother of the groom. Ushers were James Barth and Tom Vandenbergen.

Dinner and supper were served to 200 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

The couple will make their home in Arpin upon their return from their wedding trip in northern Wisconsin.
