Scholz, Emma Caroline (5 June 1897 - 21 November 1948)

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Scholz, 41, of Granton, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. William Lauterbach will officiate. Burial will take place in the Granton Cemetery. She died Sunday at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mrs. Scholz, nee Emma Caroline Kupke, was born in the Town of York on June 5, 1897. On February 5, 1919, she was married to Fred Scholz at Granton. She spent her entire life in the Town of York.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Reich of Neillsville; her husband; and eight children, Mrs. William (Anita) Moe of Hammond, Ind.; Mrs. H. C. (Linda) Sweeney of Chicago; Bernard of Marshfield; and Ardelia, Elaine, Clarence, Irene and Grace at home; and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Henry Grottke of Chili; Mrs. Claude Aumann of Neillsville; William Reich of Amherst, Nebr.; Martha Reich of Milwaukee and Leland Reich of the Town of York.
