Randall, Jerry A. (20 May 1863 - 7 December 1948)

Jerry A. Randall, 85, died at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, (1948) at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert, where he and his wife have made their home since October of this year.

Mr. Randall was born May 20, 1863, in Wisconsin. In 1890 he was married in Neillsville to Sarah Groesbeck. He and his wife lived on a farm three miles east of Neillsville until 1917, when the family moved to Fond du Lac, where they owned a large farm. In 1928 they moved from the large farm to a smaller one, and Mr. Randall was active in carpentry work until his health failed about a year ago. He had also done much carpentry and blacksmithing at the time he lived near Neillsville, building many barns in this vicinity.

He is survived by three daughters and four sons: Mrs. W. A. (Vera) Waterworth, Courtland, Cal.; Mrs. Roy (Ethel) Snow, Beach, N. D.; Kenneth, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Henry (Gertrude) Dahnert, Neillsville; George, Darold and Theodore, Fond du Lac. One daughter, Inez, died at the age of 12.

He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and by one sister, Mrs. Addie Merrill of Fond du Lac. One brother and six sisters are deceased.
