Salisbury, James (20 April 1935 - 16 September 2008)

James Salisbury, 74, passed away September 16, 2008, at the House of Dove in Marshfield surrounded by his children. He had been fighting a year-and-a-half bout with cancer.

James was born April 20, 1935, to Bernice and Clarence Salisbury.

He is survived by two sisters, Winnie (Richard) Meck and Dorothy Salisbury, both of Arizona; his children, Tina Knuth, Amie (Keith) Young, Juston, Jason and Jessie Salisbury, all of the Neillsville area; one daughter-in-law, Denise Salisbury and children all of Marshfield; 10 grandchildren, Nicole and Ronald Anderson, Cody Knuth, Tabbitha and Zachary Lueck, Levi Young, Shyla and Jada Salisbury, Erik Friemoth, Joseph Salisbury; one great-grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Fritz Lindner; three brothers, Herbert, William and Doug Salisbury; four sisters, Gin Cody, Ella Stark, Shirley Black and Francis Patschell; one son, James H. Salisbury; and one grandson.

Thanks to all who attended his memorial Saturday, September 20, 2008, and also the hospital nurses and anyone else who helped his children along the way. Your help was greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. Many thanks to the Gesche Funeral Home for their help, also.
