Old Settler Passes Away
Hans Swenson, one of the pioneers of this locality, died at his home one mile west of town last Monday of heart disease. He had been ailing for some time, but so vigorous had been his health all through life that it was almost impossible to convince him that there was anything serious the matter, consequently the aid that might have been rendered was not received, and the old gentleman passed to the hereafter in the same quiet manner that had characterized his life.
Mr. Swenson was approaching his 70th birthday. He leaves a wife and two daughters, Mabel and Gertrude, the latter being married and living in Minneapolis.
