Bores, Shirley A. (4 MAR 1945 - 5 AUG 2013)

Shirley Anne Bores, 68, passed away peacefully Aug. 5, 2013, in her home in Cibolo, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Wisconsin Rapids, where her ashes will be laid to rest with her mother, Martha Holmes.

Shirley was born March 4, 1945, to Martha (Holmes) and Walter Fischer. She attended Colby High School. Shirley married Paul Bores of Auburndale, where they raise 5 children. They later divorced and Shirley moved to Marshfield, before relocating to be with her daughter in Arizona and later Texas.

Shirley enjoyed making crafts and sharing them with all of her friends and family. She also enjoyed working with the home health care system. Nothing gave her more pleasure than helping others and sharing her time and companionship to bring joy and happiness to those she cared about. Shirley was regarded as a person with a big heart and willing to give to others.

Shirley is predeceased by her mother, (Martha Holmes), her father (Walter Fisher), her sister-in-law, and one nephew. She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth (David) Loomis; a brother, Delmar Fischer; and her five children and 10 grandchildren, Paul (Leslie) Bores, Jr. and children, Steven Paul and Mary; David Bores; Anne Poppe (Ed Schurr) and children, Alison (Alexandria Poppe), Derrick, Kaitlyn, and Caison; Ted (Kristin) Bores and son, Samuel; Martha Widmann and children, Cody, Logan, and Cassey. Shirley will always be remembered and loved for her random acts of kindness.
