Johnson, Elsie (16 JUN 1893 - 14 SEP 1939)

Mrs. Herman Johnson died of Bright’s disease and complications at her home Thursday morning. She had been ill since January and was a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, for a ten week period. She returned to her home sometime in July.

The deceased was born Elsie Kramer, June 16, 1893 in the Town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.). She was married to Herman Johnson, May 27, 1914. The young couple made their home on their farm in the Town of Holton.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, and three brothers, Anton and Richard Kramer, Town of Holton, and Ernest Kramer, Town of Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at one o’clock at the home and at two o’clock at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan. The Rev. Scharlemann of Athens will officiate. Interment will be made in the Abbotsford Cemetery.
