Stauske, Edwin R. (15 Nov. 1913 - 30 Aug. 2008)

Edwin R. Stauske, 94, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at the InnCare of Abbotsford, Wis.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 12 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Milan. The Rev. Matthew Christians will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:43 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Edwin was born Nov. 15, 1913, to Herman and Emma (Paersch) Stauske. He married Magdalena Hargraves at Trinity Lutheran Church in Athens on June 14, 1941. Edwin was a dairy farmer, block layer, grader operator, construction worker and a saw mill worker.

He is survived by 3 sons, Leonard (Louetta Lavin) Stauske of Athens, Walter Stauske of Abbotsford and Bernard Stauske of Colby; a daughter Carol Carl of Rib Mountain, nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Edwin was preceded in death by his wife Magdalena on Oct. 11, 2007.

Marina-Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
