Anna M. Walter, 102, of Neillsville, formerly of Loyal, passed away Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at the Neillsville Memorial Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal on Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at church.

LOYAL Anna Mary Walter, 102, of Neillsville, formerly of Loyal, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at the Neillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, in Loyal. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Cuddie Funeral Home, in Loyal, and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Anna was born Dec. 8, 1905, in Loyal, the daughter of George and Mary (Hoeser) Walter. Anna worked at the Loyal Cafe for five years, before moving to Park Falls, where she worked at Metz Resort, as a cook and waitress for two years. She then moved to Manitowish Waters where she worked at Rudy Rest Haven Resort, for 15 years, until her retirement. Anna moved back to the family farm, in 1968, and resided with her brother, Anthony, and his wife, Beatrice. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
