East Washburn (20 Apr 1916)

John Kauth went to Rockfield, Wis., Thursday to attend the funeral of a relative.

The community meeting given by Miss Williams’ and N. Schroeder’s schools Thursday night was a grand success.

The carpenters finished the work on Ross Galbreath’s barn Saturday.

A good many neighbors are sick these days.

Mrs. Henry Frantz very nicely entertained the Aid last Thursday. A large crowd partook of a fine dinner. The next meeting will be held at Mrs. Ed. Waterman’s.

Messrs Nelson and Kissling have planted potatos, the first of the season.

Paul Schultz is sick with the grip.
