Francis Firnstahl Is Safe In England

"Arrived safe."

That is the brief wording of a cablegram received by Frank Firnstahl Monday morning. This cablegram brought the first personal message to the parents of Francis Firnstahl since the sinking of the Tuscania.

The cablegram bears date of February 23 and was sent by Francis from Winchester, England, and was transmitted to Colby by telegraph from New York under the order of the war department at Washington. That it was gladly received is a matter of course, even though there was no longer any doubt of the safety of this popular Colby boy.

It is expected that a letter giving full details, so far as they can be given under military regulations, will soon be received and will be given to Phonograph readers as soon as practicable.
