Must Stay in Jail

August Pribbernow, who was convicted of murder in the second degree on July 11, 1914, and sentenced to serve sixteen years in the penitentiary at Waupun was refused a pardon by Governor Philipp, when his case was reviewed last week. Aug. Pribbernow, Sr. had his case come before the governor, when pardon pleas were being heard.

August Pribbernow, was convicted of second degree murder in this county, when a jury found him guilty of shooting his wife at their home a short distance from Curtiss while he was in an intoxicated condition. His case may be brought before the Governor at some future time for a pardon, but until then he still has a term of ten years to serve.
