Crume, Joyce (Marriage - 18 June 1949)

Miss Joyce Crume, daughter of Mrs. Theodore Crume of Neillsville, and Everett H. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hansen, of Granton, were united in marriage at Zion Evangelical parsonage in Neillsville Saturday June 18, (1949), at 7 o’clock. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated at a single ring ceremony.

The bride wore an orchid rayon and lace gown. Her bouquet was made of purple iris, white daisies and yellow buttercups.

Her matron of honor, Mrs. Robert Mortensen, wore a blue gown. Her bouquet matched that of the bride.

Robert Mortenson acted as groomsman.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Theodore Crume, 231 South Hewett Street. They later gathered at the groom’s home in Granton.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School and has been employed as telephone operator the past two years. The groom also was graduated from Neillsville High School and is employed in farming.
