The 76th Merwin reunion was held Sunday, August 4, at Deopke Park in Wausau, with about 90 people in attendance.

The group enjoyed a bounteous potluck, lunch, followed by the annual meeting and white elephant sale.

A moment of silence was held in remembrance of the ones no longer with them including two members who passed this past year: Ruby France, who passed at age 82 on July 6, 2013; Omer Merwin, who passed away at age 88 on May 6, 2013; and Bernice Cameron, who passed at the age of 103 on January 5, 2012.

Plans are already in the making for the 77th reunion for August 2014.

From Wausau: Carolyn and Lee Smith; Darlene Zietlow; Joan Baptist; Debbie and Ryan Knudsen; Christine and Mason Ecklund; Susan and Keith Engebrecht; Mark Zoromski; Joyce Stieber; Rene Falstad; Ralph and Jane Merwin.

From Rib Lake: Julie, Alex and Adam Chaplinski.

From Edgar: Ann and Rob Gust.
