Kunze, Ruth (Marriage - 30 July 1949)

Ruth Kunze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kunze of Neillsville, became the bride of James Wojtkiewicz son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wojtkiewicz of Milwaukee, in a double ring candlelight service at the Congregational Church July 30, 1949 at 7:30 p.m.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. N. J. Dechant before an altar banked with gladioli and garden flowers.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her matron of honor was Mrs. James Hauge, and Miss Dorothy Kunze of Milwaukee acted as bridesmaid, both being sisters of the bride.

Robert Kunze and Al Wojtkiewicz of Milwaukee attended the groom. Miss Donna Bush sang, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for about 40 guests.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School and is now employed by an insurance office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The groom attended West Miles High School. He served in the navy in World War II. He is now employed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The young couple is at home at 1324 West Kilbourn Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
