Crothers, Donna Marie (Marriage - 27 August 1949)

Mr. and Mrs. James Silverberg are spending their honeymoon in New York City with the groom’s parents following their wedding Saturday, August 27, 1949, at the home of the bride’s friend, Lois Gelhausen, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Only the bridal party and a few close relatives were present.

Attendants were Lois Gelhausen and Robert Maher of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The bride will teach this year in Almond, while the groom is working on his doctor’s degree at the University of Columbia. His work will take him to Bombay, India.

Mrs. Silverberg, the former Donna Marie Crothers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Crothers of Neillsville, is a graduate of Neillsville High School and this summer received her B. A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin. The groom received his B. A. Degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1948 and his M. A. Degree this summer.
