Washburn Center (2 Mar 1916)

Those that still have the measles are improving.

There were quite a few out to the lodge Saturday night, they took in some new members.

Mrs. Paul Pernod is about the same.

Arthur Short is hauling rock for his new barn he expects to build in the spring.

Those that were town callers Thursday were Paul Kuhn and wife and Andrew Short and wife and Mr. Spencer.

There was quite a large crowd out Wednesday to the Ferris sale.

Mrs. Floyd Wall spent Wednesday with Mrs. Feutz while Floyd attended the sale.

Jesse Wilding and wife were callers at J.A. Short’s Monday afternoon.
