Stowe, Hannah Josephine (9 June 1872 - 12 May 1930)

Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah Josephine Stowe, 57, who died Monday midnight at the residence, 415 McNary St. will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from the house and at 2:30 at the First Brethren church, Third and Grosvenor Av. Burial will be made in Lexington cemetery.

She leaves four daughters and five sons, Mrs. Clyde Huddleston, Mrs. L. G. Underwood, Mrs. Peter Turner, Mrs. Elinor Kern, James A., Ted R., Harry A., Harmon I., and Mike N. Stowe, a member of the Dayton police department; her father, William Ewert, of Unity, Wis.; 11 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. She belonged to the First Brethren church.

*** Note: Mrs. Stowe’s first four children, Alice, James, Minna and Maurice, were born in Unity, Clark County, Wisconsin. Her date of birth is from the book, "Descendants of Johan Zimmermann and Christine Schuld Ewert Zimmermann" by Linda Masden Vixie, page 54.
