Nowicki, Stephen (1871 - 12 November 1949)

Funeral services for Stephen Nowicki, 75, of Neillsville were conducted Tuesday at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp, at 10 a.m. He died at 1:30 a.m. November 12, 1949, in Neillsville. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Rev. Francis Pekarski officiated.

Mr. Nowicki was born in Poland in 1871. He was a resident of Clark County since 1893. He was married at Thorp in February, 1900.

For the past four years he lived at the old folks home on South Hewett Street.

He is survived by the following children: Anthony, of the Veterans hospital, St. Cloud, Minn.; Mrs. Martha Price, Chicago; Mrs. Carl (Stella) Onisczuk of Greenwood; Mrs. William (Lottie) Prybyski of Thorp; Mrs. Alois (Frances) Pawlicke; Mrs. Stanley (Della) Mikalek, Mrs. George (Leona) Serginia, all of Chicago; and Mrs. Frances (Bernice) Persak of Owen.
