Millard, Anna Michelle (17 January 1976 - 8 October 2008)

Anna Michelle Millard, 32, of Neillsville and formerly of Alma Center died Wednesday, October 8, 2008, as the result of a semi-truck accident which happened near Nodine, MN, and also claimed the life of her husband, Norman Jay Millard.

Anna Michelle Green was born January 17, 1976, in La Crosse. She was raised in the Hixton/Alma Center area.

She married Norman Jay Millard January 27, 1992. They first lived in Alma Center before settling in Neillsville six years ago.

Anna Michelle enjoyed spending time with her children and home-schooling them. She also enjoyed reading, hiking, talking on the telephone and Internet shopping (e-Bay).

Survivors include four minor children; her mother, Patricia (Duane) Haskins of Alma Center; a sister, Sarah Green of Neillsville; four brothers, A. J. Sims of Black River Falls, Dylan (Tamara) Green of Wisconsin Rapids, and Lucas and Wade Haskins, both of Alma Center; her grandmother, Minnie Veasey of Winston Salem, N.C.; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Joint funeral services for Anna Michelle Millard and Norman Jay Millard were held Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the District One Community Center, rural Black River Falls. Burial was in the Oxbow Cemetery, rural Melrose.

Family and friends were invited for visitation Monday, October 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buswell funeral Home, Black River Falls, and at the community center Tuesday from 10 a.m. until services.
