Abbotsford, Wis. - Norma E. Leonhard, 88, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at the Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford, Wis.

Funeral services are pending.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Abbotsford, Wis. - Norma E. Leonhard, 88, of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008, at the Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford, Wis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will follow in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. A complete obituary will run in Wednesday's edition of the Marshfield News-Herald.

Norma was born April 6, 1920, in the rural area of Unity in Marathon County to Wesley and Amy (Sheldon) Jewett. She married Henry Joseph Leonhard on Oct. 22, 1938, at the Odd Fellows Hall in Unity, Wis. She was a homemaker as well as a devoted mother and wife. Henry died Sept. 4, 1972.

Norma is survived by her children, Kenneth (Karla) Leonhard, Coldwater, Mich., Ruth (Harvey) Witt, Abbotsford, and Elaine Anderson, Roseville, Minn.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She is further survived by a sister, Dorothy Leonhard, Abbotsford; and a brother Ervin (Soh) Jewett, Marshfield.
