Boushon, Lorraine M. (28 May 1933 - 14 Oct. 2008)

CHILI -- Lorraine M. Boushon, 75, of Chili, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 14, 2008, at the Marshfield Care Center, with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. The Rev. John Trewyn will officiate. Burial will be in the Yolo Cemetery in the town of Fremont.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday.

Hansen Funeral Home of Marshfield is in charge of arrangements.

Lorraine Minnie Boushon was born May 28, 1933, in the town of Fremont, Clark County, a daughter of Frank and Ida (Whitman) Boushon. She attended school in the Chili area.

Ms. Boushon was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Chili and was a tireless volunteer for many organizations including St. Vincent DePaul's Thrift Store and the Marshfield Care Center. Lorraine enjoyed playing bingo but especially enjoyed spending time with her family and attending Bible courses.

Lorraine is lovingly survived by her brothers and sisters, Frances Gauger, Spencer, Donald (Valerie) Boushon, Chili, Art (Lorraine) Boushon, Marshfield, Ronald (Carol) Boushon, Spooner, Richard Boushon, Spencer, and Laura (Louis) Koffler, Ogema. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends further survive Ms. Boushon. Her parents and four brothers, Robert, James, Albert and Harold preceded Lorraine in death. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Ms. Boushon's name are encouraged to do so to: "Christ Lutheran Church, Chili."
