Deaton, Janice K. (27 June 1945 - 19 Sept. 2008)

WITHEE -- Janice K. Deaton, 63, of Withee, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital in Stanley. At the request of her family, private services will be held at a later date.

Janice was born June 27, 1945, in Selah, Wash., to James and Viola (Lawler) Burke. On Jan. 15, 1963, Janice married James Deaton in Yakima, Wash. They later divorced. Janice later moved to the Rib Lake area in 1981. She was the owner/operator of Little Rib Antiques in Rib Lake.

Janice is survived by her companion, Robert Hoppe, Withee; her mother, Viola Burke; three children, Trisha, Bradley and Brian. She is further survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford assisted the family with the arrangements.
