Johnson, Ramona (21 JUN 1947)

Miss Ramona Johnson and Glenn W. Schaus exchanged marriage vows Saturday afternoon, June 21, 1947, at 2 o’clock at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiated at the double ring service. Miss Johnson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Johnson, Curtiss, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schaus, Abbotsford, Wis.

Attending the bride was Miss Iris Johnson, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and Miss Loretta Smith, Curtiss, bridesmaid. Miss Johnson wore a blue net and ninon gown, and Miss Smith wore yellow net and nonon. Each carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.

Arland Elstrom, Horicon, acted as best man, and Dallas Seboe, Horicon, also attended the groom. Ushers were Melvin Strombeck, Abbotsford, and John Arends, Colby, Wis.

A wedding supper was served at 5:30 p.m. at Curtiss Hall to 85 guests and a dance honoring the couple was held later in the evening.

The bride and groom took a wedding trip to the southern part of the state. The groom is a mechanic, and the couple will reside at Horicon.
