Mueller, Elsie (14 JUN 1947)

Miss Elsie Mueller, daughter of Mrs. Anna Mueller, Abbotsford, and Ralph Woik, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at 1:30 Saturday, June 14, 1947, the services being held at Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford, the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating.

Miss Helen Zebro, Mosinee, was maid of honor. She was dressed in white ninon. The bridesmaids, Miss Delores Mueller, Withee, niece of the bride,a nd Miss Lila Mueller, Abbotsford, wore pink and orchid. All the girls carried bouquets of pink roses and white carnations.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Robert Woik, Owen. Robert Ebert, Colby, and Marlyn Sommers, Curtiss, served as groomsmen.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Arnold Mueller, Abbotsford, was dressed in white slipper satin and net, trimmed with seed pearls and ending in a train. She wore a two-tiered lace edged fingertip veil caught to an orange blossom crown. Her bouquet was a fan design of orchids and white carnations.

Sixty relatives and friends were in attendance at the 5:30 dinner at the home of the bride’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Weideman, Abbotsford, Wis. A dance honoring the couple was held that night at Colby at the Walters Pavilion.

The couple will live on a farm west of Curtiss following their honeymoon in southern Wisconsin and Chicago.
