Sapetta, Stacey (26 JUL 1947)

Stacey Sapetta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Novak of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), was married July 26, 1947 at St. Pancratius Church in Chicago, to Marion Feliksik of Chicago, son of Mrs. Anna Feliksik, also of Chicago.

Miss Sapetta was attired in a lovely gown of lace with long sleeves, which came to points at the wrists. She also wore a short veil edged in lace. Orchids and lilies of the valley, tied with white streamers, made up her bridal bouquet.

The bridesmaids, cousins of the bride, Miss Helen Sapetta of Owen, and Miss Virginia Ziemnik of Chicago, wore identical gowns of white net skirts over taffeta, and bodices made of white net trimmed in gold threads. They also carried bouquets of orchids and lilies of the valley. Two little flower girls, nieces of the groom, wore dresses of gold and carried miniature bouquets of orchids. The bride’s gifts to her attendants were Pink gold earrings, and the flower girls received gold heart shaped bracelets.

Walter Ziemnik and George Voukan attended the groom. They, including the groom, wore white dinner suits.

The groom is employed in Chicago, where the newlyweds will make their home. The bride, a graduate of the Withee High School, has been employed by the U. S. Treasury Dept. for the past three years.

Mr. and Mrs. Feliksik chose southeast Michigan for their honeymoon.
