Miss Joyce Anne Ellenbecker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ellenbecker of Rt. 1 Dorchester, was united in marriage to Arlyn John Ampe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ampe, Sr., of Rt. 1 Loyal, Friday, in ceremonies at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. The Rev. Gerald Schuh performed the double-ring ceremony in the presence of 120 guests.

The bride wore an A-line floor-length gown with an empire bodice and dress made of sheer nylon organza with a lace paneled front. She carried pink roses and yellow carnations with streamers as she was escorted to the altar by her parents.

Diane Wanke of Kewaskum was maid-of-honor. Marlene Ampe of Loyal and Mrs. Paul Ampe, Jr., of Kenosha, were bridesmaids. They wore floor-length, empire style dotted Swiss gowns of blue and white and carried colonial-style bouquets of assorted flowers.

Dennis Engevold of Spence was bestman. David Ellenbecker of Dorchester and Paul Ampe, Jr., of Kenosha, were groomsmen. Michael Wanke of Kewaskum and Ray Wehe of Loyal were ushers.

A reception was held at Memorial Hall in Dorchester, with 120 guests attending.

The bride graduated from Colby high School in 1970 and the groom graduated from Loyal High School in 1969 and attended Eau Claire vocational institute. They will make their home at 428 Dover, Chippewa Falls.
