Jones, Benjamin J. (25 NOV 1974 - 22 JUL 2013)

Benjamin J. Jones, 38, Town of Vernon, Waukesha County, died on Monday, July 22. Services were held on Saturday, July 27 at Christ Lutheran Church in Big Bend.

Hartson Funeral Home of Hales Corners assisted the family with arrangements.

Benjamin Jones was born on November 25, 1974 in Troy, Ohio, to Jack and Janice (VanFossen) Jones. He attended elementary and middle school in Greendale and graduated from Forest High School in Chapel Hill, Tenn., in 1992.

On May 6, 2004 in Hanalei Bay, Kauai, Hawaii, he married Brenda Tom, who survives. He was a craftsman in the tool and die trade and was employed as the head of machining and CNC programming at Wire Specialists in Brookfield.

He enjoyed riding bulls while in the International Professional Rodeo Association, fishing, cooking and sharing recipes, and working on cars in his garage.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his parents, Jack and Janice Jones of Muskego; three children, Nicole, Kaitlyn and Benjamin; a brother, Aaron (Jamie) Jones; a sister, Sandy (Karl) Vondrak; grandmother, Marjorie VanFossen of McEwen, Tenn.; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Hanson, and grandparents, Edwin and Marjorie Jones and Carl VanFossen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to establish a fund for the children.
