Pflughoeft, Ethel E. (27 MAY 1910 - 10 SEP 2013)

Ethel E. Pflughoeft, age 103, of Neillsville, WI, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at the Neillsville Care and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville.

Ethel Ella Stelloh was born on May 27, 1910 the daughter of Edward and Martha (Dahl) Stelloh in the Township of Levis. She attended the Silvercrest Grade School. On April 6, 1932 she was united in marriage to Leo Pflughoeft. Together they raised their family and farmed in the township of Pine Valley. Ethel loved to garden, pick berries, can her harvest and crochet. No one left her house hungry as there was always a wonderful meal to be found on her table. Leo died on September 13, 1993 and in 1994 Ethel sold the farm and moved to an apartment in Neillsville. Ethel was a member of the United Church of Christ in Neillsville and their Ladies Aid.

She is survived by a son, Donald Pflughoeft of Loyal, WI and three daughters, Betty Aumann of Sussex, WI, Mary (David) Pietenpol of Lake Holcombe, WI and Pat Keller of Bloomington, MN, 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband sons-in-law, Ken Keller and Don Aumann and a daughter-in-law, Hazel Pflughoeft.

Serving as casket bearers for Ethel will be Dale Pflughoeft, David Aumann, Michael Pietenpol, John Pietenpol, Kendall Hemish, and Andrew Kline.

Funeral services for Ethel will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville. Pastor Jacoba Koppert will officiate. Providing music will be Eileen Zank, organist. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning at the church. Interment will be in Neillsville City Cemetery.
