CURTISS NEWS AND HAPPENINGS

Wm. Fahrenbach was a caller at Abbotsford Wednesday, he reports walking very fine.

Mr. Murphy of Withee arrived this week and will be employed the Geo. Hoff Hardware.

Friday afternoon, Feb. 26th, he Helping Hand Society ws entertained a the home of Mr. Ralph Green.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aldinger returned Tuesday from Iowa where they have been visiting relatives the past two weeks.

Mrs. Fredericka Conrad and daughter Edna left Friday for Thorp to visit a the home of Mrs. Conrad’s daughter, Mrs. Wm. Wagner.

The Misses Rose and Esther Theime were Sunday evening callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ecke.

Mrs. Arthur Thompson is teaching the upper grades in our school during the absence of Mrs. Merriman who had the misfortune to fall and injure herself on day last week.

Mr. Geo. Rogers of Abbotsford was a business caller in Curtiss, Wednesday.

Alfred Thompson went to Chippewa Falls Friday evening to receive medical treatment at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Mrs. Joe Figley went to Chippewa Falls Friday evening to accompany her son Harold home Saturday. He has been receiving medical treatment at the hospital there for the past few weeks.

The Misses Ether and Rose Theime spent Sunday at the John Hoge home.

Mrs. Francis Tuttle and Miss Ruth Ingersoll visited Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green.

Henry Heinzel made a business trip to Owen and Marshfield Wednesday of this week.

Raymond Ryder and Orval Leiders of Abbotsford called on friends in Curtiss Monday evening.
