Olah, Catherine Ann (23 Nov. 1917 - 3 Nov. 2008)

Abbotsford, Wis. -- Catherine Ann Olah, 90, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at the Golden Living Center, Rib Lake.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Colby, Wis. -- Catherine Ann Olah, 90, of Colby, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at the Golden Living Center, Rib Lake.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, Wis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

On Nov. 23, 1917, Catherine was born to Anton and Amelia (Lavicka) Weiler in Athens. She was united in marriage Feb. 3, 1940, to Michael C. Olah at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Athens. He preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1989. She was a hard working farm wife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing and traveling.

Catherine is survived by her children, Carol (Donald) Heeren, Schofield, JoAnn Roehl, Lakeside, Ariz., Beverly (Robert) Butler, Rib Lake, June (Ken) Nowlin of Lakeside, Ariz., Janette (Walter) Schorer, Colby, and Tony Olah, Owen; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Frank Weiler, Montello; three sisters, Martha (Len) Gengler, Milwaukee, Delores Henrichs, Athens, and Sister Josephine Weiler, La Crosse. Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home, Abbotsford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
