Jensen, Christian (1873? - 16 SEP 1947)

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 20, at two o’clock p.m. from the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) for Christian M. Jensen. Mr. Jensen, who had been living at the home of his son Viggo at Minneapolis, passed away, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1947, at the age of 74 years. His remains are being sent to Owen and he will lie in state at the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) where friends may pay their final respects from Friday noon until Saturday noon.

Rev. L. C. Bundgaard will read the final rites and interment will be made in the Danish Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Smith, Jr., Jacob Christiansen, Andrew Krarup, Pater Krarup, Soren Rasmussen and Sam Anderson. Flower girls will be Dorothy Neilsen, Deborah Christophersen, Margaret Potocnik and Hilda Smith.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Hulga) Nelson and Mrs. W. (Edna) Savage of Minneapolis, and two sons, Viggo of Minneapolis and Einar. His wife preceded him in death, passing away seven years ago.
