Anderson, Lillian #2 (27 SEP 1947)

Marriage vows were exchanged between Lillian Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Anderson, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and Clarence Warncke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Warncke, Colby, at a wedding ceremony performed at the Withee Methodist Church at two o’clock, Saturday afternoon, Sept. 27, 1947. The ceremony was read by the Rev. James Irish.

Attending the bride, who was gowned in a bridal dress of white crepe-de-shein over satin, were Arlene Warncke, sister of the bridegroom, as maid of honor and bridesmaid, Mrs. Vivian Geaurge, sister of the bride. They wore matching gowns of rose net and blue net over rayon satin. The bride carried a bouquet of red and white carnations while her attendants carried bouquets of pink and white carnations.

Sharon Geaurke was flower girl and wore a dress of white net over nainsook with a pink and white sash.

The groom and his attendant wore dark blue business suits.

Following the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, at which 50 guests were in attendance.

The newlyweds will make their home at Colby where he is employed in a factory.
