Ray, John (18 OCT 1858 - 4 OCT 1947)
John Ray of 509 Forest St., Eau Claire, Wis., died Saturday morning at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. On Oct. 18th he would have attained the age of 89 years.
He has often visited in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) at the home of his sister, the late Mrs. Peter Martinson, and had enjoyed the acquaintance of a large number of Owen Memorial Park.
The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the Lenmark Funeral Home. The Rev. A. E. Syverud read the final rites and interment was made in the family lot in the Dramen Cemetery.
Miss Mena Martinson motored to Eau Claire Tuesday to attend the service.
