Sjostrom, Hilma D. (24 FEB 1876 - 26 OCT 1947)

Hilma Dagmar Sjostrom was born Feb. 24, 1876 at Luopioinen, Finland. She spent her early childhood in Finland, where she became a graduate nurse. Sept. 27, 1901, she was married to Henry Sjostrom and they came to the United States in 1903, residing at Red Granite, Wis., until 1918, when they moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). She passed away on Sunday, Oct. 26, 1947 at 9:30 a.m.

Hilma Dagmar Sjostrom was a loving wife and mother and leaves to mourn her passing her husband Henry Sjostrom of Owen, Wis., her daughter Alma Anderson of Wilmette, Ill., and her daughter Agnes Smith of Barron, Wis., and a host of friends and relatives.

Hilma Dagmar Sjostrom was always a Christian woman and her faith in God has never wavered. Her beloved husband and son were with her a the end and her last words were "The Lord cometh for me." Her transfigured face gave proof that she had seen God.

Hilma Dagmar Sjostrom passed way at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 2 days.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock from the Griebenow Funeral Parlors with the Rev. Puotinen officiating. Interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were: (This was cut off my copy)
