Bedard, Irene Lenora (3 Jan. 1918 - 18 Apr. 2008)

Irene Lenora Bedard, 90, Prentice, died in the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips while under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice on Friday, April 18. She was born on January 3, 1918, in the Town of Lynn, Clark County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur and Clara (Thurk) Witt. She was married to Joseph Bedard on January 14, 1939, in Ingram, Wisconsin. They made their home in Ladysmith for many years. She was employed by Mt. Senario College in Ladysmith in various positions until the time of her retirement. She is survived by two daughters, Mona Morgan, Crystal, MN, and Beverly Bedard, Prentice; by one son, Michael Bedard (wife Miki), Cottage Grove, MN; by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and by two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on April 22, 1985; and by one sister, Irma Dahlke. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Enurnment will be in the Ingram Cemetery in Ingram, Wisconsin. The Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice is assisting the family with arrangements.
