Miss Lizzie Westphal entertained Miss Bertha Schoettler, Sunday.

Gertie Howe is on the sick list this week.

The home of Herman Stabnaw was completely destroyed by fire Friday afternoon. The family was all away at the time.

Jas. Howe is quite a hunter. He can’t tell the difference between a guinea hen and an owl.

The dance at Salzwedel’s Saturday night was quite well attended. A good time was reported.

School closes next Friday—exercises will be held at the school house Saturday evening.

Alice Whitmore of Greenwood attended the dance Saturday night. As exercise is good for the health, she walked over.

Don’t forget to attend the dance next Saturday evening at the residence of Jno. Scovil.

The train comes up once a week and that is on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Adams are the chief cooks at Camp Wilcox nowdays.

E. Scovil and sister drove to town today.

Miss Maud Scovil and best fellow attended the dance at Stowes last Friday evening.
