Rowe, Vernon (? - 1950)

Vernon E. Rowe, who spent his early years at York Center, is dead at McCleary, Washington. He left Clark County about 35 years ago, bought a barber shop at McCleary and operated it up to the time of his death.

Vernon Rowe was the son of William Rowe. The family farm was just west of the York Center church. The late Walter Rowe was an uncle. Surviving here is Mrs. Walter Rowe and nephews and nieces.

Vernon Rowe was married 33 years ago. His wife died eight years ago. He is survived by a son, Milford, and a daughter Elizabeth, Mrs. Archie Tinconni, both of whom reside in McCleary. Surviving also is a brother, Glenn of Milwaukee, who attended the funeral.

Local relatives are advised that Vernon was highly esteemed at McCleary, and that the good will of the community was manifested in a very large floral offering.
