Kauffman, Dorothy (Marriage - 13 May 1950)

Miss Dorothy Kauffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. O. Kauffman of Loyal, became the bride of Ervin Steiger, son of Mrs. Ella Steiger of Milwaukee, on May 13, 1950 at 2;30 o’clock at the Loyal Methodist Church. Rev. Lee Holmes performed a double-ring ceremony.

The bride was attended by Mrs. Kenneth Steiger as matron of honor, and Miss Donna Mae Baird as bridesmaid, Mary Jane Bergemann was flower girl. Kenneth Steiger and Donald Kauffman acted as groomsmen.

Mrs. Ary Arneson of Spring Valley, the soloist, was accompanied by Miss Donna Gotter.

A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride was graduated from the Loyal High School. The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and is employed by the Neillsville Production Credit association.
