Gall, Betty Ann (Marriage - 5 Jan. 1957)

Miss Betty Ann Gall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin F. Gall of Medford, and Howard M. Barr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Worthing Barr of Colby, exchanged marriage vows in the Holy Rosary church at Medford Saturday morning at 8:00 o’clock, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Gregory Rueter officiating at the services.

Attending the bridal pair as best man and matron of honor were the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Shinek Jr., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Angus Lamont Jr., of Colby, Wis. A wide V-neckline banded with net featured the lace bodice of the bridal gown. Lace also was used in the peplum which topped the net hooped skirt. Her bouquet consisted of red and white roses. Lace bodices and net-over-taffeta skirts detailed the gowns worn by her attendants. The rose of Mrs. Shinek's frock was matched with the rose carnations which she carried in combination with white carnations. White carnations were also combined with blue ones to match Mrs. Lamont's dress. The nuptials were followed with breakfast at the home of the bride. The wedding reception and supper were held at the V.F.W. Club at Medford. The groom, a graduate of Colby High School, is employed here by the Northern States Power Company and his bride is employed in the Colby Clinic. She is a graduate of the Medford High School and received her nursing training at St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Marshfield.
