Hartung, Margaret (Marriage - 1 June 1957)

Miss Margaret Hartung, daughter of Joseph Hartung of Neillsville, Route 1, and Joseph Fechhelm, son of Mrs. Mary Fecchelm of Unity, Route 1, were married Saturday morning at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wis., Rev. John B. Pinion officiating at the marriage rites. Rev. Richard Rossiter of Marshfield read the nuptial mass which followed. Sister M. Clementine was the organist for the children’s choir when it sang.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, placed a floral tribute at the Blessed Virgin’s altar after the mass. For her wedding she chose a lace and net over satin floor-length frock designed with Queen Anne collar and long sleeves. A headpiece of pearls and sequins held the finger-tip veil. In her hands rested a white prayer book with streamers topped with red roses and white Stephanotis.
