Rasmussen, Mrs. Jacob (13 February 1869 - 15 May 1950)

Mrs. Jacob Rasmussen, 81, died May 15, 1950, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith. She was interred Thursday, May 18, in the Danish Cemetery with services proceeding in the Danish Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Rasmussen was born in Denmark February 13, 1869. She came to Clark County from Superior, having been married there to Jacob Rasmussen April 29, 1896. Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by eight children, 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters in Denmark. The children are: Holgar B. of Spooner; Thorvald, Tyler, Minn.; Ove, Menomonie, Wis.; Arnold of Withee; Wiggo of La Crosse; Mrs. Richard (Herdis) Neilsen of Withee; Mrs. Leon (Agnes) Smith, Withee; Mrs. Harold (Dagmar) Christensen, Withee.
