Colby, Wis. - Mar. 7, 1957

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Neitzel spent several days in Oshkosh on business.

A son was born at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital March 3 to Mr. and Mrs. John Rashka of Colby, Route 2.

A daughter was born March 2 to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wehrman of Colby, Route 1, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Larson of Marshfield were Saturday supper and evening guests at the Wallace Sossaman home.

The Jim Beyerl family and Mrs. Harvey Bitter were dinner guests at the Jake Habemeyer home at Marshfield Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Blanchard of Milwaukee spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Blanchard and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weddig.

Theodore Brill and son, Joseph, left Sunday for Shreveport, La., to visit with the former’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vic Berg and family.

Dennis Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schultz has been dismissed from the Memorial Hospital, Wausau, where he underwent an operation.

A 1/c and Mrs. James R. Hyde are the parents of a son, Marty James, born Feb. 26th at Greenville, Miss. Mrs. Hyde is the former Evelyn Primeau of Colby, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Godfried Nystrom left Wednesday for Chicago where they are visiting their son-in-law and daughter and where their grand daughter underwent an operation.

Mrs. Herman Neumeister of Minneapolis, Minn., and Miss Helen Neumeister of St. Paul, Minn., spent the week-end with Miss Mabel Neumeister while on the return to their homes from a trip to Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Block and children, Joan, Jerry, Judy and Jay, returned home Sunday after spending two weeks in Clearwater, Florida, visiting Mrs. Block’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Reinholdt.

Guests at the Norbert Wolf home Sunday, in honor of the 70th birthday anniversary of John Wolf, were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wolf and Lawrence of Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wolf *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
