Peterson, Vernon (17 Nov. 1904 - 10 Feb. 1957)

Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon for Vernon Peterson, a native of Colby, Wisconsin, who died at his home in Green Bay Sunday after a brief illness at the age of 62 years. Rev. Richard Harrison, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Abbotsford, officiated and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Mr. Peterson was born in Colby, Wisconsin on November 17, 1904, but left with his family when he was a young boy. He was unmarried and had been employed as a marine radio operator until his retirement 10 years ago.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Nels G. Peterson of Milwaukee; one brother, Lee, of Milwaukee; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Johnson of Withee, Mrs. Neil Vater of Owen and Miss Ann Peterson of Green Bay.
