Eidsvold

Mrs. J. W. Cusick, Gus Anderson and C. S. Evensons’ little girls have added their names to the sick list.

L. M. Cornwell made a business trip to Longwood the latter part of last week

George W. Bailey, the harness maker, has recently returned from Elroy.

Ors DeLong of Thorp, has rented a portion of W. E. Powell’s building, and became a resident of Eidsvold.

Miss Mabel Cook of Unity, is paying her aunt, Mrs. J. P. Drake, a visit.

W. H. Bowie purchased six yearling heifers of Herman Frieze last week.

Wm Allen took in the sights at Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls last week.

Miss Nora Fellows spent last week with relatives at Thorp.

Willie Sy has rented the Marius Anderson farm for the ensuing year.

M. W. Cusick as moved in with F. Dedrick and will assist the latter in the management of his farm this summer.

The Rev. Paul Hull’s congregation at this place drove to Stanley Thursday night and treated the Elder and his wife to a donation party.

The Rev. John Granskan of Stanley, preached to his Eidsvold congregation on Sunday.

Miss Myrtle Ruscher having attained to the age of "sweet sixteen," was given a birthday party by her parents and friends on the evening of March 19.

Wm Vandusen has purchased Ed. Powell’s house and tour lots on Depo Street and will have immediate possession. Mr. Powell moves onto his farm in the town of Mead.

The shipment of logs from Thorp to this place has commenced, and it is stated on good authority that the old mill at the former place will never be run again.

Miss Jennie Warden and Lewis Hegg were married at Chippewa Falls on Sunday, Guy Warden and Miss Minnie Hegg witnessing the ceremony. The bride is one of Eidsvold’s charming young ladies, has lived here all her life, and has many friends who join in wishing her all happiness in the future. The groom is from Boyd.
