Rondorf, Marie (27 MAY 1920 - 25 SEP 1943)

Funeral services for Marie Magdalen Rondorf, 23, were conducted at St. Anthony’s Catholic church here last Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock, with The Rev. Aloys Zinthefer officiating at the requiem high mass. Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery.

Miss Rondorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Rondorf, died Saturday morning, Sept. 25, after an illness of some time. She was born on May 27, 1920, in the town of York and moved to Loyal with her parents in 1940.

Pallbearers for the funeral were Edwin, Paul and Donald Degenhardt, Dale Rondorf, George Buffington Jr. and Donald Buffington, and flowers were carried by misses Regina Rondorf, Virginia Bentzler and Delores Buffington and Mrs. Dale Rondorf.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Frank Rondorf, Donald Rondorf, Miss Regina Rondorf and William Baus, all of Haven, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Schmitz and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Flock of St. Mary’s Ridge; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Rondorf, Mrs. Ben Liese and Mrs., Geiger, all of Norwalk; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rondorf, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rondorf, Mr. and Mrs. George Buffington and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peopple, Mr. and Mrs. William Michalski, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Michalski and Mrs., Alfred Rondorf, all of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rondorf, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rondorf and Mr. and Mrs. Hemmersbach, all of Greenwood, and Mrs. Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hannon, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dorn and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Dorn, all of Neillsville.

The Tribune joins friends and neighbors in extending sympathy to the bereaved.
